The Kebbi State Governorship Election Tribunal has issued its ruling, affirming the victory of Governor Nasir Idris. The tribunal, presided over by Justice Ofem I. Ofem, delivered this judgment on Thursday.
Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared Idris of the All Progressives Congress (APC) winner of the March 18 gubernatorial election.
The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), General Aminu Bande (retd), however filed a 722-page petition challenging the election of Governor Idris in the March 18 poll.
