JOS, Plateau State – November 23, 2025 – The city of Jos is set to come alive with faith and music as the highly anticipated Plateau Unity Carols & Praise Festival is set to commence this Friday, November 28th. With final preparations underway, the event promises to be a significant gathering for worship and cultural celebration.
The three-day festival, which runs from November 28th to 30th, is the second edition under the visionary leadership of the State Governor, His Excellency Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang. It is jointly organized by the Plateau State Government and the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN). 
The event will feature an impressive assembly of national figures. Special Guests of Honour include Gen. Dr. Yakubu Gowon, GCFR, NNOM, former Head of State; General Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR, NNOM, former President; and Hon. Hannatu Musa Musawa, ESQ, Honourable Minister of Art, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy for the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Attendees will also receive spiritual ministrations from Pastors Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, SAN, GCON, former Vice President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and Dr. Paul Enenche, Senior Pastor of Dunamis International Gospel Centre, Abuja.
A major highlight of the festival is its diverse musical lineup. The event will feature a 300-trumpeter ensemble and performances by a roster of top Nigerian gospel artists, including Sinach, Osinachi Kalu Okoro Egbu, and Buchi Atuonwu. They will be joined by choristers from Abuja, Hausa singers from Katsina, and various indigenous Plateau artists and choirs.
Adding a unique cultural dimension, the festival will include special children’s performances, where they will sing and celebrate the Christmas story in various Plateau dialects, symbolizing unity and heritage.
Themed “Plateau United in Praise,” the festival will hold daily at the Ten Commandments Prayer Altar, Jos, starting at 3:00 PM from Friday, November 28th through Sunday, November 30th.
The event is positioned as a cornerstone of the Christmas season in the heart of the nation, offering an experience of joy, music, and communal harmony for all attendees.
