Nollywood actress Foluke Daramola-Salako has disclosed that her support for President Bola Tinubu in the 2023 elections cost her two ambassadorial deals worth a combined ₦25 million and nearly ended her marriage.
Speaking on Behind The Fame TV, Daramola-Salako said she lost a ₦10 million and a ₦15 million endorsement due to backlash from the “Obidient” movement.
“I almost lost my marriage, but the fundamental thing is that I voted my conscience and choice,” she stated.
Daramola-Salako, who served as media assistant for the performing arts directorate in the APC’s 2023 presidential campaign council in Lagos, said her loyalty to Tinubu remains firm, describing him as a father figure who has supported her on several occasions, including her wedding.
