Popular Nigerian businessman and socialite, Emeka Okonkwo, widely known as E-Money, has spoken out following his release from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).

E-Money was reportedly arrested at his Lagos residence on Monday, April 28, 2025, over allegations of violating Nigeria’s currency regulations by spraying naira and dollar bills at a party.

The arrest drew criticism from celebrities like Cubana Chief Priest, VeryDarkMan, and Bobrisky.

Despite the controversy, E-Money reassured his fans on Instagram, posting a photo with the caption, “No tension, Everywhere good, I see all your love and support. God bless you all.”
