Salome Adaidu, the woman tragically killed and dismembered by gospel singer Timileyin Ajayi in Nasarawa State over the weekend, has been laid to rest amid emotional mourning.
Ajayi was apprehended in Nasarawa State after allegedly being caught with the severed head of Adaidu, concealed in a polythene bag.
The gruesome incident reportedly occurred on Sunday, January 12, in Agwan Sarki, Orozo, a community near the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). Authorities were alerted through an intelligence tip-off, leading security operatives to an uncompleted building where Ajayi was arrested.
During his interrogation, Ajayi, who also promotes himself as a motivational speaker on TikTok, confessed to m#rdering the victim who he claimed he dated for a year.
Late Adaidu’s remains were interred, as captured in a video showing a group of men laying the coffin down while the sounds of mournful weeping could be heard in the background.
