Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang of Plateau State has congratulated the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of Eid-el-Fitr, calling for unity, peace, and sustained national cohesion.
In a statement issued on March 19, 2026, the governor joined millions of Muslims in Nigeria and across the world in celebrating the end of Ramadan, commending their devotion, discipline, and sacrifices throughout the holy month.
Mutfwang urged Muslims to uphold the virtues of love, charity, tolerance, and unity beyond the fasting period, noting that these values are essential for peaceful coexistence and national development.
“I heartily rejoice with the Muslim Ummah on this special occasion, which reminds us of the virtues of sacrifice and total submission to the will of God Almighty,” he said.
He described Eid-el-Fitr as a significant milestone that reinforces faith and selflessness, while acknowledging the contributions of the Muslim community to peace in Plateau State.
The governor also reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to inclusive governance, protection of lives and property, and improved welfare for citizens.
