Veteran Nigerian rapper Eedris Abdulkareem has accused President Bola Tinubu and American billionaire Bill Gates of plotting to harm Nigerians through the introduction of genetically modified organisms (GMO) in the country’s food system.

In his newly released track titled “Tinubu/Bill Gates GMO,” Abdulkareem warns of the alleged dangers of GMO seeds, describing them as poisonous and harmful to both the environment and human health.

“GMO na big-time poison. Any soil where dem plant am no go reproduce again,” the Jaga Jaga crooner raps in the song. “If the seed go fit destroy the soil, that mean say he go destroy your organs.”

The rapper rejected any plan to replace organic agriculture in Nigeria with GMO farming, claiming it would devastate the country’s food sustainability and farmers’ livelihoods. He alleged that certain powerful figures are pushing the move in an attempt to disrupt Nigeria’s agricultural system.

Calling on First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu to intervene, Abdulkareem appealed for the preservation of natural food sources and a return to secure farming environments.

“First Lady Mrs. Remi Tinubu, I beg make you help us remind your husband. Time don come to end all this insurgency and terrorism in Nigeria so our farmers fit go back farm to grow natural organic food for us,” he said.

He concluded the track with a passionate plea to Nigerians to resist GMO foods: “Make you tell your husband, Mr. President, we no need GMO because na poison. Papa and Mama, shine your eyes.”
