The Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), led by Elon Musk, has reportedly uncovered troubling financial support from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) directed towards a non-profit organization accused of distributing sexually explicit content to minors.
According to a report shared on X (formerly Twitter) by Senator Mike Lee, the NIH allegedly funneled funds to the non-profit, which was found to be promoting controversial content, including material on sex toys, lesbian sex, and transgender issues, directly to minors’ cellphones. The organization reportedly encouraged the minors to keep the messages secret from their parents.
A post from the @amuse account on X referenced DOGE’s findings, quoting the agency’s statement: “The NIH has been quietly funding a nonprofit that sends direct messages to hundreds of minors’ cellphones, promoting content on ‘sex toys,’ ‘lesbian sex,’ and transgender sex—while actively urging these children not to inform their parents.”
Reacting, Senator Mike, who shared the post on his page, expressed shock over the alleged discovery.
According to the Republican Senator, “having endured four years of Biden’s lawlessness, I’m not shocked by much these days but this one is frankly shocking”.
He said the United States Government probably needs to be shut down “and start over”
“NIH used federal funding to send s*xually explicit content to kids? We need to shut down this whole damn government and start over”, he wrote.
DOGE has made a series of discoveries about alleged fraudulent activities from previous governments.
