An Abuja Magistrate Court has granted bail to activist Omoyele Sowore, Nnamdi Kanu’s brother, Prince Emmanuel, and one of Kanu’s lawyers, Aloy Ejimakor, along with others arrested during Monday’s #FreeNnamdiKanuNow protest.
Sowore was apprehended by police on Thursday shortly after leaving the Federal High Court premises in Abuja, where he had participated in the protest calling for the release of the detained IPOB leader.
The court had earlier remanded Kanu’s brother, Ejimakor, and 11 others on charges of “inciting public disturbance.”
