In his address, the State Director of the City Boy Movement, Daser David, described the inauguration as “an important milestone in advancing President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope vision across Plateau State.”

He urged the newly appointed coordinators to lead with discipline, integrity, and a deep sense of responsibility.

“Your appointment is not a title; it is a responsibility,” he said. “You are the face of this movement in your communities. Mobilize with wisdom, promote peace, and educate your people on the Renewed Hope agenda.”

Daser David reaffirmed the movement’s commitment to working in synergy with the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state.

“We remain fully aligned with the vision of the APC in Plateau State. We are not competing with the party; we are partners in progress,” he stated, adding that the movement aims to strengthen structures down to the ward and polling-unit levels.

He further called on APC members and supporters of President Tinubu to unite behind the Renewed Hope initiative.

“This is the time for unity, partnership, and collective action. The City Boy Movement is your platform. Let us work together to secure a stronger Plateau and a stronger APC,” he added.

The State Director expressed appreciation to individuals and groups whose support made the event possible, including Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, the Pastor Reuben Initiative, and other contributors.

“Your commitment and contributions have reinforced the foundation upon which we continue to build. We deeply appreciate your unwavering support,” he said.

Speakers at the event commended the City Boy Movement for its organisational capacity and dedication to grassroots mobilisation, describing the initiative as strategic for Plateau’s political future.

The inauguration signifies a new phase of structured engagement as the movement intensifies efforts to spread the Renewed Hope message across communities in all 17 LGAs of Plateau State.
