The Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) in Eruku, Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State, has resumed worship services just days after a brutal bandit attack shook the community.
A video from the church’s first service since the assault shows a pastor delivering a sermon to a smaller congregation, as worshippers gradually return to the sanctuary five days after the tragic incident.
The attack occurred on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, when armed assailants stormed the church during a meeting, killing two worshippers, injuring one, and abducting 38 others.
Despite the tragedy, church leaders and remaining members demonstrated remarkable resilience and faith, choosing to gather once more for communal worship and spiritual healing.
