Popular Nigerian actor, comedian, content creator, and influencer Broda Shaggi has reportedly been hospitalised following a gunshot injury sustained in Ogun State.
According to reports, the incident occurred on Sunday while Broda Shaggi was filming at the Sango Ota Bridge
He was initially rushed to a private hospital in the Alakuko area of Lagos State before being referred to another facility in Ikeja.
Abimbola Adebisi, spokesperson for the Lagos State Police Command, confirmed that the hospital reported the case to the police.
“The hospital reported to the command that a gunshot victim was brought to their facility, and we discovered it was Broda Shaggi when we visited the hospital,” Adebisi said, according to The Sun.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances of the shooting.
