The Benue State House of Assembly has approved Governor Hyacinth Alia’s request to appoint 10 additional Special Advisers.
The approval was granted during plenary on Thursday, giving the governor the mandate to further expand his team of advisers just days after he announced fresh appointments into strategic offices and statutory boards.
According to lawmakers, the decision is aimed at strengthening governance and enhancing the administration’s capacity to deliver on its development agenda.
Governor Alia is expected to announce the names of the new appointees in the coming days.
