Nigerian singer Asake has reportedly been granted special access to a restricted section of the Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, also known as the Prophet’s Mosque, during his ongoing pilgrimage in Medina, Saudi Arabia.

The singer is currently in Medina, one of Islam’s holiest cities, where thousands of Muslims gather, particularly during Ramadan, for prayers and spiritual reflection.

In a video circulating on social media, large numbers of worshippers were seen praying within the mosque complex. Amid the crowd, Asake was guided by an official wearing a vest marked “Ask Me,” a label commonly used by mosque guides who assist pilgrims.

The footage shows the guide leading the singer to a small wooden door that opened to grant him access to a secluded section believed to hold religious significance and historical connections to Prophet Muhammad. After Asake entered, the door was quickly closed behind him, indicating the restricted nature of the area.

Inside the section, the singer was seen kneeling in prayer, spending a quiet moment in personal devotion within the sacred space.

The video has since attracted widespread reactions online, with many fans expressing admiration for the singer’s spiritual journey and the rare opportunity he received during his visit.
