Saturday 4th october 2014 was a special day for the “Nollywood people” in Plateau state as the AGN plateau state was on song to elect a set of new house officials. The event which took place at the french centre Jos had the collection of creative minds as nine(9) offices were unanimously voted for and new state officials emerged as some ex officers were also returned elected and they were all dully sworn in a brief ceremony afterwards. In attendance were Delegates from the Media, Nigerian Film corporation as observers and Also the GM Plateau Radio Television Corporation, Mr Sunday Bulus Rogo was there to lend his support for the guild and charge the officials to foster unity among guild members and propel the association to greater height and also warned against clash of ideas. Responding the Re-elected AGN Chairman Mrs Patience Egwurube said in did “the show must go on” As she was spurred to do more and feeling refreshed with vigour and vision for a new dispensation, also noting that despite the challenges of her past administration she was sure with proper legislation and cluster arrangements the chapter will gain greater height.
