The Naira weakened to ₦1,515 per dollar in the parallel market on Tuesday, down from ₦1,510/$1 recorded on Monday.
Similarly, the local currency depreciated in the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM), trading at ₦1,502 per dollar, according to data from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
This marks a ₦3 drop from the ₦1,499/$1 recorded the previous day.
Consequently, the margin between the parallel market and NFEM rate widened to N13 per dollar from N11 per dollar on Monday.
