Afolayan’s post sparked widespread debate on his page, with many agreeing that inefficiency in the workforce remains a pressing issue in Nigeria.
His sentiments resonated with several colleagues in the entertainment industry, who flooded his comment section to share similar experiences.
Reacting to his post, actress Biola Bayo shared her frustration, saying:
“Come ask me o. They’ll apply for jobs, call for an interview and won’t show up. The ones you pick will not resume work, or the one who resumes doesn’t want to work.”
Media personality Stephanie Coker also weighed in, saying, “I spent the whole weekend discussing this.”
Comedian and skit maker Kiekie echoed the concerns, writing, “I am screaming!! This!! It’s alarming!! If you have all the money in this world, you’ll still not get results! The spirit of excellence is zero.”
