The milestone event took place on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the school premises in Jos, Plateau State, and was followed by a Grand Dinner and Award Night at Tamarald Event Center in Jos. Engr. Peter Jademi, President of STJOSA, acknowledged the achievements of the school while highlighting concerns over infrastructural decay.
“Over the years, we have witnessed infrastructural decline, and we need to address this issue urgently. As alumni, we are committed to partnering with the school for positive change. Our goal is to restore St. John’s College to its former glory,” Jademi said.
He further announced scholarships for indigent students and prizes for academic excellence, encouraging alumni to remain engaged in giving back to their alma mater.

He, however, pointed out pressing challenges such as inadequate water supply, classroom shortages, and deteriorating infrastructure, calling on alumni for support.
