The Opta SuperComputer has released its latest projections for the 2024/25 UEFA Champions League, identifying Liverpool, Arsenal, and Inter Milan as the leading contenders for the title.
According to the data-driven analysis, Liverpool stands as the strongest candidate with a 24.5% probability of winning the competition. The Reds, who topped the league phase, have suffered just one defeat in the tournament so far—a 3-2 loss to PSV in their final group-stage match. If successful, it would mark Liverpool’s seventh Champions League triumph.
Arsenal follows closely behind with a 16.9% chance of securing their first-ever Champions League title. The Gunners finished second in the league phase, with their only loss coming against Inter Milan. Despite their strong form, Mikel Arteta’s side also trails Liverpool in the Premier League title race, adding further pressure to their campaign.
Inter, on the part, finished third in the league phase and have been given a 14.8% chance of winning the Champions League.
All three teams have automatically qualified for the Round of 16 and are awaiting their next opponents from the play-offs.
