The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has announced a 15% tariff increase, marking its first adjustment in over three decades.
NPA Managing Director Abubakar Dantsoho disclosed this on Thursday in Lagos during a stakeholders’ engagement on the approved tariff increment.
Represented by the Executive Director of Marine and Operations, Olalekan Badmus, Dantsoho noted that the agency had maintained the same rates for 32 years despite economic shifts, including exchange rate fluctuations, rising wages, and inflation.
