Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has declared a three-day period of mourning and prayers to honor the late Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mr. Tayo Oluwatuyi.
The governor made the announcement during a condolence visit to the family of the deceased in Akure, where he was accompanied by members of the State Executive Council. He assured the family of the government’s unwavering support during this difficult time.
The governor declared the three-day mourning and prayers, from 5-7, January, in honour of the late SSG.
According to him, the late SSG “lived a fulfilled life and made positive impacts on many people.”
Oluwatuyi died on Saturday while receiving treatment in the hospital after a car accident.
Aiyedatiwa said late Oluwatuyi was a recurring decimal in the politics and governance of Ondo State, adding that the history of the state will not be complete without a mention of his impacts.
