Award-winning singer Asake has cemented his dominance in Nigeria’s music industry, being named the country’s best-selling artist for 2024.
This marks an unprecedented third consecutive year at the top, a feat never before achieved in Nigerian music history.
According to TurnTable’s annual end-of-year chart, Asake’s projects, including his acclaimed albums Mr. Money With The Vibe and Work of Art, maintained their chart-topping momentum throughout the year.
His third album, Lungu Boy, released in August 2024, spent 15 weeks at number one, emerging as the year’s best-selling album.
Asake also reigned as the number one radio artist for the second consecutive year.
On streaming platforms, Asake’s supremacy continued, finishing 2024 as the top artist on Apple Music, with “Lungu Boy” leading the album charts. He also dominated Audiomack and was crowned the number one artist on YouTube in Nigeria.
