Governor Caleb Mutfwang has expressed satisfaction with preparations for the inaugural Plateau State Interdenominational Unity Christmas Carols and Praise Festival, scheduled to commence on November 29, 2024. Speaking during an inspection of the venue at the 10 Commandment Prayer Altar, Doi, DU, in Jos South LGA, the governor commended the organizing committee for their efforts in ensuring a smooth and well-coordinated event.
“I am pleased with what I have seen today regarding the venue’s preparation. The committee in charge has done an excellent job. We look forward to tomorrow with great excitement as this marks the beginning of a new journey toward purposeful unity for the people of Plateau State,” Governor Mutfwang stated.
He assured attendees of adequate security and seamless logistics, emphasizing that seating arrangements, conveniences, and parking facilities are in optimal condition. “This place will be well-secured, and people should feel free to come. By God’s grace, the next three days will be exciting for Plateau residents and visitors alike,” he added.
The festival, organized in collaboration with the Plateau State Chapter of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), will feature renowned dignitaries, including General Yakubu Gowon, who will serve as the Father of the Day, and former President, General Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR.
The event, running from November 29 to December 1, 2024, will begin daily at 3:30 PM and promises an atmosphere of unity, celebration, and spiritual upliftment for attendees.
