A 3D Coaching Seminar held on Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th August at the National Institute of Sports (NIS) in Abuja provided valuable insights and education to Nigerian National Team Coaches across various sports. The seminar, led by Mark Hull from the 3D Institute in the USA, focused on advanced coaching techniques and methodologies.
Organized by Lighthouse Rescue Sports Outreach (LRSO), an NGO with 28 years of experience in sports development, the event attracted a significant turnout of coaches eager to enhance their coaching capabilities. Geoffrey Bottson, President of LRSO, encouraged the coaches to enroll in the full 3D Coaching Course, emphasizing that it would greatly improve their skills and contribute to their professional growth.
The long-standing expertise and partnerships of LRSO played a crucial role in facilitating this seminar, underscoring their commitment to advancing sports coaching in Nigeria.
Also in attendance was Rev. Philip Madugu, a member of the Board of Trustees for LRSO and a Sports Chaplain, who supported the initiative and highlighted the importance of continuous learning in sports coaching.
The seminar was a key step in upgrading coaching standards within the Nigerian sports community, with participants expressing enthusiasm for the knowledge gained during the sessions.
