The celebration and product launch took place on Sunday, May 26th, 2024.
The star-studded event was attended by prominent personalities and entertainment enthusiasts, with top Nigerian music artist Ruby Gyang leading a product launch discussion session. The discussion highlighted the new line of products, including the Shower Bath Gel Skin Glow, the Glow Moisturizing Oil, the 2-in-1 Palm Softening Cream, and the Body Softening Scrub. Attendees were informed about the unique qualities of these products, all of which are certified by NAFDAC, meeting the necessary requirements for general market sale and distribution.
In an interview with journalists, Nammy Socials explained the inspiration behind her new skincare line. “It’s actually a skin glow product,” she said. “I’m trying to bring in the idea of people being comfortable in their own skin, trying to glow their natural skin and be confident in it. Every single product is made from natural ingredients.”
Launching the product line on her 30th birthday held special significance for Nammy Socials. “I’ve always wanted to do this. This is something I have a passion for. So I decided to launch it now because I know I am ready to face the world. I’m ready for all the criticism, ready to learn, and ready for everything. This is the time I feel the tree is bigger,” she remarked, emphasizing her commitment to personal and professional growth.
Nammy Socials takes pride in the meticulous process of creating her products. “I make them from scratch, from start to finish. While I sometimes make the coconut oil myself, I also purchase natural oils from other producers. However, all the final products are made by me. I don’t rebrand other people’s products.”
She further elaborated on the uniqueness of her products, stating, “My mixture is amazing. It’s one of a kind. I usually do the research myself and have people test the products. NAFDAC had to conduct their own evaluations before giving approval. I can confidently say my product is the best because of the effort I put in and the ingredients I use. Unlike others who use just one or two oils, I use multiple oils to ensure comprehensive skin benefits—glowing skin, acne removal, and dead cell elimination all in one product.”
Nammy Socials also addressed the harmful trend of skin bleaching. “Honestly, for those who bleach their skin, the long-term effects are often damaging.
