In response to a recent publication on Daybreak Media, an online news platform, Operation SAFE HAVEN (OPSH) categorically dismissed and denounced the allegations of the arrest of the Commander of Sector 5 in Bokkos Local Government Area of Plateau State. The publication, authored by Gabriel Achudu, claimed the commander’s involvement in the recent attacks on communities in Bokkos, Barikin Ladi, and Mangu Local Government Areas.

As a multi-agency security initiative, Operation SAFE HAVEN asserted its steadfast commitment to addressing the recurring security challenges on the Plateau and its environs.
The operation emphasized the unwavering dedication and commitment of its troops to ensuring the safety and security of the affected communities. OPSH called on the public to disregard the misleading and false information, describing it as serving the selfish interests of its purveyors. The operation emphasized the importance of citizens avoiding the spread of inaccurate and misleading stories, particularly those concerning national security.
Captain Oya James, the Media Information Officer of Operation SAFE HAVEN, stressed that national security is a collective responsibility, and the efforts of all well-meaning citizens are crucial in enhancing the nation’s security.
