Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has submitted a proposed supplementary budget of over N58 billion for the year 2023 to the state House of Assembly.
The supplementary budget was presented during a plenary session presided over by the Speaker.
The Speaker pointed out that the executive is seeking the approval of the House in line with sections 121 (a) and (b) of the 1999 constitution.
He explained that the state government highlighted that the 2023 proposed supplementary budget becomes necessary to sharpen the government’s focus to deliver its objectives by accelerating the execution of priority projects.
