Festus Keyamo, the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, has disclosed that he would receive comprehensive briefings on the state of affairs from his ministry before making important decisions.
Recall that Keyamo, the immediate past Minister of State for Labour and Employment, resumed his new role after being sworn in by President Bola Tinubu at the State House on Monday.
Speaking with staff members at the Ministry, Keyamo appealed to them to work harmoniously to bring the President’s ideas for the Ministry to reality and develop the nation.
The new minister said he would continue with the Ministry’s roadmap structure and would like to know the completion stage of its objectives and achievements.
Keyamo added that the Ministry would develop its ideas and take them to the President for approval to fit into the agenda of renewed hope.
He also said he would be engaging in the briefing for the next couple of days, and the exercise would be completed before he makes any decision.
He tweeted, “Yesterday, I started the process of receiving comprehensive briefings on the state of affairs from all the departments under my Ministry and all the agencies I supervise.
“This will go on daily for the next few days. I intend to complete this exercise before taking some very clear decisions.”
