The Governors of the Southeastern region of Nigeria held a meeting in Enugu State on Thursday, August 10.
The Governors of Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Imo, and Enugu participated in the meeting which is the first since their inauguration on May 29.
The five Governors are expected to focus their discussions on issues bothering on security, economy, and general well-being of the people of the south east region.
Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State is the chairman of the southeast governors’ forum and Senator Uche Ekwunife is the Director General of the Governors Forum.
