Simon Ekpa, a prominent figure associated with the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), has issued a warning regarding the ongoing 2-week sit-at-home exercise in Biafraland.
He took to his Twitter page to announce that if Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of IPOB, is not released by the end of the current 2-week sit-at-home period, there will be further sit-at-home exercises.
He wrote:
“As the 2 week lockdown is ending, the civil servant in Biafraland should get ready for 3weeks lockdown for only Nigeria Civil Servants and other Nigeria officials within Biafra territory, police, army etc offices within Biafraland will be locked down for 3weeks and if that didn’t release MNK, we will extend it to 4weeks until they will have no money to run the government.”
