Following the tragic aircraft crash landing in the Ikeja area of Lagos State on Tuesday, August 1, there is a glimmer of hope as four individuals have been rescued alive, including two crew members and two passengers.
The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) officially confirmed the successful rescue operation.
In a tweet posted on its official handle, NEMA acknowledged the joint efforts of various agencies, including LASEMA (Lagos State Emergency Management Agency), the fire service, security agencies, and other stakeholders, in conducting the rescue mission.
”Fixed wing Aircraft Reg 5NCCQ Airfirst Hospitality and Tour Ltd crashed near Lagos Airport. Following the incident, NEMA, LASEMA,Fire Service, security Agencies and other stakeholders carried out search and rescue operation.Two crew members and two passengers rescued .”
