Seun Kuti, a Nigerian musician has expressed regret for campaigning for Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress in 1999, stating that he was a fool.
According to him, he was naive and went ahead to campaign for Tinubu due to his friendship with his father and family.
He was reacting to criticisms that followed his comment that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party cannot save Nigeria.
Recall also that Peter Okoye of Psquare had tackled him over the comment. Okoye said Obi is a Nigerian capable of changing the country for good.
He went further to tell Kuti to stop trying to make people lose interest in the electoral process.
