At least six persons died after a fire broke out in the early hours of today 1st November 2022 beside the keystone bank at the Adeola Odeku area of Victoria Island, Lagos.
It was gathered that the fire gutted a building suspected to be occupied by a bank and cars were also seen burning in the inferno.
Firefighters from the nearby Eko Hotel and Suites unsuccessfully tried to put out the fire.
At the time of this report, it was not clear if the fire outbreak had been brought under control.
