Gunmen, suspected to be bandits have kidnapped the Paramount Ruler of Gindiri, in Mangu Local Government area of Plateau State, HRH Charles Mato Dakat at his residence, in the early Hours of Sunday after a heavy Gunfire.
A source who spoke to our reporters said sporadic gunshots were beards from the residence of the traditional ruler at about 1am on Sunday.
The suspected gunmen were said to have done away with the paramount ruler who was alone in the house as his wife and other family members were said to have traveled. Effort to speak to the PPRO Plateau State Command Mr. Gabriel Ubah on the issue before press time proved abortive as he could not pick our phone call.
