Maj. Gen. IS Ali is the New Commander of the Special Task force, Operation Safe Haven with Headquarters in Jos Plateau State.
Maj Gen IS Ali who becomes the General Officer Commanding 3 Division will double as the Commander Special Task Force Operation Safe Haven.
Recall that on the 11th of March 2021, The Special Taskforce, Operation Safe Haven brought in Maj. General Dominic Onyemulu as a replacement for Maj. Gen. CC Okonkwo was then adjudged as one of the best serving commandants.
However Maj. Gen. Dominic Onyemulu who came from the Armed Forces Simulation Centre has been criticized on many front especially with the resurgence of killings in some Plateau communities which has been alleged as the reason for his change.
