Plateau State COVID19 Update – 18 new cases of COVID19 was confirmed on Friday 12th June, 2020 this brings the total to 148 cases in the state asNigeria has now hit 15,181 after 627 people tested positive.
Governor Lalong in his earlier delivered speech said the state has tested 2,032 persons for COVID-19 in the State with 26 persons still on admission and have discharged 99 persons. Out of the total number of confirmed cases in the sate as 3 deaths have been recorded thus far. Further more 35 persons of interest were still held at quarantine centres in Pankshin, Quaan-Pan, Heipang and Mangu.
According to the Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC, 229 of the
new cases were recorded in Lagos, 65 in FCT, 54 in Abia, 42 in Borno, 35
in Oyo, 28 in Rivers, 28 in Edo, 27 in Gombe, 21 in Ogun, 18 in
Plateau, 18 in Delta, 10 in Bauchi, 10 in Kaduna, 9 in Benue, 8 in Ondo,
6 in Kwara, 4 in Nasarawa, 4 in Enugu, 3 in Sokoto, 3 in Niger, 3 in
Kebbi, 1 in Yobe, and 1 in Kano.
In total, Nigeria has now recorded 15,181 cases of COVID-19. 4,891
patients have been discharged from various Isolation centers across the
country, while 399 deaths have been recorded.
