Plateau State COVID19 Update – 2 new cases ofCOVID19were confirmed today. One of the patients is from our isolation center while the other is a direct contact of our fourth COVID19 patient.
Plateau State recorded 10 cases of COVID19 on Thursday 8th May 2020 and it was reported that 6 of 10 cases reported were through community transmission in Jos North LGA. 4 cases were from one of our quarantine centers.
Governor Simon Bako Lalong said Plateau State is recording more COVID-19 Cases and it goes to say that the State is witnessing community transmission arising from the earlier cases.
Citizens are hereby encouraged to maintain social distance, use face masks and, wash their hands regularly to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Plateau State.
