About twenty five 25 persons were intercepted today at Bauchi road Jos by the vigilantes stationed at Dogon Dutse junction.
Reports had it that they were coming from Port Harcourt when they were intercepted. They hid in the rear of this truck carrying sacks of salt after paying the driver of the truck.
As at the time of filing this report it was discovered that a mobile court was invited and they were fined 10, 000 naira each.
Two of them are from Plateau state, the two were ordered to be
quarantined for two weeks while the remaining were escorted out of Jos
after the payment of the fine.
