Plateau State Governor Simon Lalong has emerged as the new Chairman of the Northern States Governors Forum.
This follows the meeting of the Forum in Kaduna, the political headquarters of the region.

Shettima said he has finished his two tenures as a governor therefore on
may twenty nineth Lalong is expected to take over
Governor Lalong described the out going Chairman who left a wide
vacuum, he said that he would work hard to give quality leadership to
the forum with the support of the northern Governors.
