A
Federal High Court sitting in Jos the Plateau state capital on Thursday
dismissed a pre-election suit on certificate forgery filed against a
House of Representatives member-elect, Hon. Komsul Alphonsus, by Hon Joe
Bukar alleging that he submitted a fake Primary School living
certificate to INEC.
Hon. Kwomsul who defeated, Hon. Joe Bukar,
on pre-election ,primaries all of them are from the All Progressives
Congress (APC), in Shendam Mikang/Quan’pan Federal Constituency.
Hon.
Bukar, filed a petition as plaintiff before the Federal High Court
alleging that the school leaving certificate of Komsul were doctored by
the first respondent.
The
plaintiff has presented a school certificate through his counsel to the
court obtained from RCC Primary School, Kalong in Shendam Local
Government Area of Plateau State.
However, ruling on Joe Bukar application Justice Musa Kurya of the High Court dismissed the case for lack merit.
Reacting
to the judgment while answering questions from journalists, Hon. Komsul
said the judgment was a victory to his constituents
According
to him, “my victory is a clear demonstration of overwhelming support by
the good people of my constituency; I want to extent my hands of
fellowship to Joe Bukar because we are member of the same family”.
He
condemned allegations of providing fake certificate that a lies because
of my transparent nature court had vindicated me and I pray it should
be extended to my other colleagues who they are challenging in court.
