Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau state on Wednesday vowed to leave a
lasting legacy in the state in line with the manifesto of his party the
All Progressive Congress APC. Lalong made this known while signing into the law the 2019 appropriation bill.
The law was earlier passed by the Plateau
State House of Assembly, having gone through due diligence.
It authorizes the issue of the consolidated revenue fund of the State in
the sum of N153,537,190,069.00 only for the service of the State in
respect of the financial year commencing 1st of January, 2019 and ending
31st December, 2019.
Speaking at the occasion which took place at the Old Government House,
Rayfield Jos , Lalong said he would create a roadmap for business to
thrive , I am planing to build a legacy for Plateau in my second tenure
.
We will improve on the current peace and complete the projects that we have started.
“ I will be focused on the completion of the projects I started and initiation of new ones.”
The Governor further said his administration would continuously
engage stakeholders in the Plateau project in finding a solution to
challenges faced by citizens of the state .
He thanked the Plateau house of assembly for their support and called on citizens to support his administration at all times .
