Beyonce and Jay Z accepted their Brit awards for Best International
Group in front of a Meghan Markle portrait and it is one photo and video
that Black Americans are now calling “epic”.
The power couple were absent from the award ceremony so they accepted
the honour with a video. The video shows the pair in front of a regal
portrait of Meghan Markle as they recreated the pose they did in front
of the Mona Lisa in their “Apesh**t” video in the Louvre last year.
Meghan Markle looked incredibly regal in the painting. She had on a crown and jewel and looked like a Queen.
Eagled-eyed viewers spotted the portrait of the Duchess of Sussex in
the background as Beyonce and Jay Z appeared on TV to accept their
award. And social media users took to various platforms to gush about
it. For most, it’s the highlight of Black History Month.
