Plateau State: Ban On Public Procession Still In Force – PLSG

The Plateau state Government wishes to appreciate its citizens for maintaining the peace over a long period of time.

This has restored the dignity of the state among the committee of states, making it a destination of choice for conferences, seminars and businesses.

While appreciating the partnership of stakeholders in the peace process, the government is determined to ensure that the peace being enjoyed is sustained and improved on.

As such, the Plateau state government wishes to remind citizens that the ban on public procession in the state remains in force.

State information and Communication Commissioner Yakubu Dati therefore wants parents to caution their wards not to be drawn into actions that will constitute threats to public peace.

Dati said security agencies have been adequately briefed and are ready to prevent any threat to peaceful coexistence.
