The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC at the Plateau State Presidential Election Collation Centre has so far received and announced some results.
The Returning Officer in Plateau State, Prof Richard Amande Kimbir, declared open the collation for the presidential and National
Assembly election results.
Kimbir, who is also the Vice Chancellor, Federal University of
Agriculture, Makurdi, read the ground rules at the state collation
centre located in the INEC state headquarters before welcoming the local
government collation officers to read the results.
The presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar has taken early lead in the results of 13 Local Governments Areas
