February 6, 2019, Enough is Enough Nigeria marked the 2nd anniversary of
the One Voice Nigeria protest with a nationwide PVC collection drive.
Similar to the first anniversary walk dedicated to encouraging eligible
voters to come out en masse and register, the 2nd anniversary focused on
encouraging already registered voters to collect their PVCs ahead of
the February 8 INEC deadline.
For their trouble, movie lovers with PVCs were rewarded with free access
to selected cinemas across the country to watch a simultaneous
screening of the critically acclaimed Izu Ojukwu-directed “Power of 1”
in company of celebrity hangout hosts.
Amongst the celebrity and influencers on hand were Annie Idibia, Padita
Agu, Jibola Dabo, Michelle Dede,Sound Sultan, MI2, Gentle Jack, Walter
Anga,Ogus Baba, MC Amanna, Osama,MC Edopikin, Lucy Ameh and others.
Largely inspired by the events surrounding the One Voice Nigeria protest
that took place in Lagos and Abuja on the 6th of February 2017 ‘Power
of 1’ is a movie and movement aimed at promoting the belief that one
person’s affirmative action can deliver positive outcomes and challenge
young Nigerians to embrace the responsibility of fixing Nigeria one
challenge at a time.
The hangout is proudly sponsored by EiE, YDI & The 2Baba Foundation
