The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC at the Plateau State
Presidential Election Collation Centre has received and announced results of 17 Local Government Areas in the state.
The Returning Officer in Plateau State, Prof Richard Amande Kimbir,
the Vice Chancellor, Federal University of
Agriculture, Makurdi, declared open the collation for the presidential and National
Assembly election results.
Kimbir, who is also read the ground rules at the state collation
centre located in the welcoming the local
government collation officers to read the results.
From the results gathered, The presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar leads with 548,475 votes while the APC Candidate, Buhari has a total of 468,555 votes.
This results were announced at INEC state headquarters and await final announcement at the INEC National collation centre Abuja
