Mr. Obinna Chukwuezie, the coordinator of the VoteNotFight campaign in
Plateau state paid a courtesy visit to the Equity Elections Situation
Room sited at Cypa Africa hub in Jos.
Mr. Obinna after touring
the hub with the rest of his team spent a good time at the situation
room with the staff volunteers who have been up and doing trying to
ensure maximum reports are received, analysed and sent out in due time.
In the course of his words to the volunteers, Mr. Obinna expressed
satisfaction with the level of preparation at the situation room for the
2019 general elections. He further took time to commend and encourage
the volunteers for their job so far and found it worthy to share some of
his past experience on the field as an election observer in the
previous experience. So much information was shared in the course of
this interaction and everyone was excited.
Amb. Chris Iyama the
executive director of Cypa Africa while appreciating the guest for his
support and encouragement didn’t fail to also acknowledge Mr. Obinna’s
commitment over the years towards ensuring good governance and good
democracy in Nigeria and Africa at large.
We had an amazing time
with Mr. Obinna, obviously when experience meets a seeker of
experience, time is spent but knowledge is gained!
