PRESS RELEASE FROM PLATEAU DEBATE GROUP: CHANGE IN DATE
We hereby bring to the notice of the general public that the earlier announced date for the Plateau Gubernatorial Debate, being organised by the Plateau Debate Group (PDG), has been shifted from the 26th of January 2019. The new date is 2nd of February 2019.
This change was necessitated by the need to carry all stakeholders along. We had a slight delay in the signing of legal contracts and agreements with our media and other partners.
These events have now been sorted and all is set for the LIVE state-wide broadcast of the second edition of the Plateau Gubernatorial Debate. Given that the first Gubernatorial Debate we organized in 2015 was a huge success, we are committed to building on this legacy, and organizing an even better debate this year, drawing from our experience and the advancements in technology.
We recognize the interest of the public in this project and we kindly ask that you keep faith with us as we coast to the finish line come 2nd February 2019.
Members of the public are therefore urged to identify priority areas of governance which they would like to see the candidates discuss by sending their questions to these emails: plateaudebate@gmail.com or info@plateaudebate.com.
